Nachos Night at Chihuahua Mexican Grill

Beer and nachos -- the perfect combination for unwinding and relaxing.  I used to think that nachos were a food group unto themselves.  It's pretty complete -- beef and beans for protein, the chips for carbs and starch,  the cheese and sour cream for dairy and as for fat,  well that's what you get if you eat too much nachos!

Chihuahua Mexican Grill in Greenbelt has a pretty good bowl of nachos. They're on the quiet side of Greenbelt 3, away from the live music and crowds so even on a Saturday night, there's always a place to sit.

The nachos are filling and tasty -- a drizzle of sour cream on top helps blend all the flavours together. If I could just suggest -- since this is  a popular item on the menu, perhaps the nacho chips can be improved as right now, they are so obviously store bought.

There are different kinds of imported beers but I order a San Mig Light on tap.  You can customise your quesadillas and my all time favourite is the cheese and jalapeño, with the peppers and cheese all melting together.  It packs quite a hot kick!  A half order comes with three big wedges and along with the chicken burrito that Jay ordered, it was all deliciosa!
Viva Chihuahua!
